Amman, Jordan – November 15th, 2011 – SEDCO, a leading provider of specialized IT solutions in the MENA region, participated in Microsoft Open Door 2011, held between 1st and 2nd November in the Sheraton Hotel in Amman, under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Basem Rousan, Minister of Information & Communications Technology.
Committed to excellence, Microsoft utilized feedback kiosks that are developed and manufactured by SEDCO, to measure the satisfaction of the participants with the event's various sessions. Each participant was given a badge that had a unique barcode. The participants scanned their badges using a special barcode reader in the kiosks, and they filled an electronic feedback panel designed by SEDCO to provide their feedback about the event.
"We are glad to have this partnership with Microsoft," said Mohammad Adi, SEDCO's Regional Sales Manager. "Our kiosks helped Microsoft to obtain feedback from their customers and partners on the open door event. The kiosks can be utilized in a variety of ways in any organization or institution that offers self service," he added.
The 2-day event brought together hundreds of interested local IT professionals and experts. It aimed at introducing them to Microsoft's latest technologies and features. The event included numerous sessions, presented by Microsoft experts in the region, in addition to live presentations about the latest products and innovations by Microsoft.
The event gave the participants the chance to increase their knowledge about the latest MS advancements, and to interact and network with local IT community as well as regional Microsoft and industry experts.
