As part of its vision to provide the best customer experience, Mobily implemented 100 of SEDCO Self-service kiosks in public areas across the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This initiative comes to enable Mobily’s customers to get instant services 24 hours while maintaining social distancing.

With the self-service machines, Mobily customers can have 24/7 access to the typical branch transactions including SIM dispensing, bill payment, top-up mobile balance, and mobile payments, in addition to customer live support.

The smart telecom kiosks offer a variety of features including cash acceptance, change dispensing, real-time SIM registration and biometric verifications, aiming to give customers the choice and flexibility to carry out transactions through a more convenient channel while bridging the gap between online and physical world.

This step came with an additional advantage as the self-service kiosks eliminate direct human interaction to keep Mobily staff and customers safe during Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.

Mobily customers can give their feedback on the spot after finishing the transaction through the kiosks. Mobily uses this feedback to measure customer satisfaction, improve its services and plan  a better customer focused strategy.

Integrated with Mobily’s back-end system, SEDCO’s kiosks are highly secure, while offering Mobily management full control of the devices remotely to ensure the continuity of its services.

“Our Self-Service Kiosks cover a significant aspect of customer validation through national ID cards, passports and biometric verification, which authenticates the process aiming towards secured transactions and smooth customer journey”, stated Nidal Abu Markhieh, SEDCO’s Regional Sales Manager.

“We are proud of this cooperation with Mobily, who always takes initiative towards digital telecom transformation. SEDCO’s self-service machines will reduce the traffic in branches, maintain social distancing, optimize utilization of Mobily resources, and decrease cost per transaction by reducing employee and overhead cost,’’ Abu Markhiya added.
