Partnership aims to expand access to AI-powered virtual healthcare through the deployment of Telehealth Pods across Australia and New Zealand.
Amman, Jordan – October 1, 2026 — SEDCO, a global provider of smart healthcare and customer experience technologies, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Australian healthcare technology company CareZen to introduce and expand Telehealth Pod solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
The agreement was signed at SEDCO’s Amman office by Majdi Shawish, CEO of SEDCO, and Margot Morton, CEO and Co-Founder of CareZen, marking the beginning of a collaboration focused on extending access to virtual healthcare through connected, technology-enabled care environments. The signing ceremony was also attended by Megan Dowdell, COO and Co-Founder of CareZen, alongside Ali Farah SMO at SEDCO and Mohamad Adi, Business Development Manager at SEDCO, reflecting the joint commitment of both organizations to advancing the partnership and supporting its future development.
Under the agreement, CareZen will work with SEDCO to introduce SEDCO’s AI-powered Telehealth Pod to the Australian market and support deployments across multiple locations, including New Zealand. The partnership is expected to begin with the deployment of more than 10 AI-powered Telehealth Pods in its first stage during 2027, supporting the expansion of connected virtual care across Australia.
“Healthcare is increasingly moving beyond the traditional boundaries of hospitals and clinics, and technology has an important role to play in making care more accessible,” said Majdi Shawish, CEO of SEDCO. “Telehealth is also evolving beyond video consultation alone. By combining self-measurement of vital signs with AI-powered triage, our Telehealth Pod helps enhance the virtual care experience by giving doctors more relevant patient information before the consultation begins,” Shawish added.
SEDCO’s Telehealth Pod brings multiple stages of the virtual care journey into a single private environment. Patients can measure vital signs, interact with an AI-powered medical assistant for symptom and medical-history collection, and connect remotely with healthcare professionals for teleconsultation. The solution is designed to help healthcare providers extend services beyond conventional clinical facilities while maintaining a connected patient journey and integration with existing healthcare information systems.
“At CareZen, our focus is on making high-quality virtual care easier to access and easier to deliver,” said Margot Morton, CEO and Co-Founder of CareZen. “Partnering with SEDCO enables us to combine our understanding of the Australian healthcare environment with an advanced Telehealth Pod platform that brings virtual consultation, patient assessment, and digital healthcare technologies together. We see strong potential for this model to support healthcare providers and communities across Australia and New Zealand, particularly where distance or access remains a challenge.”
The cooperation will focus on deploying Telehealth Pods across different locations in Australia and New Zealand, supporting healthcare organizations seeking new ways to provide accessible virtual consultations and digitally enabled healthcare services.
Highlighting the strategic importance of the collaboration, Shawish said: “Through our partnership with CareZen, we are bringing together strong local market expertise and SEDCO’s telehealth technologies to help healthcare providers across Australia and New Zealand extend clinical services through a more connected, efficient, and accessible model of care.”
The agreement reflects both companies’ shared vision of using digital healthcare technologies to connect patients and clinicians more efficiently while enabling healthcare services to extend beyond traditional facilities.
